100g Plain Flour
1 Egg, Beaten
200ml Full Cream Milk
½ tbsp oil, plus some extra for frying
80g Biltong Powder
150g Cream Cheese
Chives to taste
- In a mixing bowl combine the flour and salt. In a second bowl mix the egg with the milk and oil. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while whisking into a smooth batter.
- Put a large pan on a gently heat. Add a drizzle of oil to the pan before adding a thin layer of the pancake batter. Once sides have crisped, flip pancake over to cook the other side. Repeat until you’ve used up all your mixture.
- In a sperate bowl combine your cream cheese, mozzarella and biltong powder. Divide the filling into your pancakes. Top with chopped chives to taste. Roll up your pancake and enjoy.
